Mesh barefoot shoes: knitted for a unique feel
Our mesh barefoot shoes combine comfort, lightness and flexibility. For the Terrar Knit barefoot shoe, we’ve opted for a knitted upper made from 65% merino wool and 35% polyamide. This innovative blend of materials is not only breathable and soft, but moulds to your foot like a second skin. No pressure, no chafing – simply naturally comfortable.
Why Mesh barefoot shoes are so comfortable
Mesh is a particularly flexible, stretchy and adaptable material. With the Terrar Knit, the outer material and the inner lining are knitted as a single piece – right here in Portugal, not far from our production facility. That means: no pinching seams, no hard edges = no rubbing against your feet. This is a real advantage, especially for people with sensitive feet or conditions such as bunions. The shoe moulds gently around your foot, almost like a sock, but with a flexible natural rubber sole underneath.
Mesh meets the barefoot feel – naturally from doghammer
Like all our models, the Terrar Knit has everything that defines a genuine barefoot shoe: a wide toe box, a zero heel and a thin, flexible sole. This creates a natural walking sensation, which activates your foot muscles and supports natural movement. The knitted mesh structure makes the Terrar Knit particularly breathable and pleasantly lightweight. The flexible upper moulds to your foot like a second skin and ensures optimum comfort – perfect for spring, summer and the transitional seasons.
