What makes our barefoot slippers for women so special?
Our barefoot slippers for women are more than just comfortable companions for your home. Thanks to their flexible sole and high-quality natural materials such as sheep’s wool and cork, they create a foot environment that will ensure you’ll never go back to synthetic slippers. Every pair is handcrafted in Portugal – with heart and soul. Find out more about your new favourite slippers here!
Why are barefoot slippers so good for your feet?
The zero-heel design of our women’s barefoot slippers ensures that your feet maintain their natural posture. Added to this is a wide toe box, which gives your toes the space they need. The soft sole, made from 85% natural rubber, is particularly flexible – keeping your foot muscles active. The result? Greater stability, less tension and a completely new walking experience.
What makes the materials in our barefoot slippers so special?
For our women’s barefoot slippers, we use genuine sheep’s wool from the Pomeranian Landschaf breed, recycled cork for the footbed and natural rubber for the flexible outsole. The wool comes from Nordwolle in northern Germany and ensures a dry, temperature-regulating foot environment – without any sweating or feeling cold. For us, sustainability and comfort go hand in hand.
Can I wear my barefoot slippers outdoors too?
Absolutely! Our women’s barefoot slippers aren’t just made for indoor use. The sturdy natural rubber sole makes them the perfect companion for your camping holiday, a trip to the bin or a coffee in the garden. And the upper, made from undyed wool, reliably wicks away moisture – thanks to lanolin. For anyone looking for a firmer grip in their shoes and on the terrain, we have our women’s barefoot hiking boots.
Where and how are our slippers made?
Our women’s barefoot slippers are produced in a family-run shoe factory in Portugal. The supply chain is short, the quality is high, and working conditions are fair. Our supply chains are also as local as possible – the soles come from a factory located just 50 kilometres away from our production facility.
How do I look after my barefoot slippers properly?
Thanks to the self-cleaning properties of wool, you’ll rarely need to clean your women’s barefoot slippers. A damp cloth and a little lukewarm water are usually enough. You should avoid using a washing machine and harsh detergents – the natural wool grease protects your shoes all by itself.
